Comparison
Should you buy a tool or hire someone?
There are two ways to find out how AI describes your business. Subscribe to a dashboard that tracks it, or pay somebody to measure it and do something about it. Most pages comparing these are written by one side. This one is written by a service, so read the next bit first.

Buy the tool, not us, if any of this is true
- You want a live dashboard. We do not have one. You get a report by email. If you want to log in and look at a chart on a Tuesday, a tool is the right purchase — they start at about $29 a month.
- You are tracking hundreds of prompts. We work with a frozen set of fifteen to twenty-five questions, chosen because you could plausibly win them. If you want breadth rather than depth, software does that better and cheaper.
- You have a marketing team. If somebody in your building will read a feed and act on it, you do not need us. Our whole reason for existing is that the owner runs the business and nobody is going to write the pages.
- You are a large organisation. The enterprise platforms cover more engines with more model-level detail, and that breadth is what a large organisation should buy.
If you recognised yourself in that list, the honest answer is: buy the tool. We would rather say so than take a month’s fee and disappoint you.
The other case
Get someone to do the work if this is you
Nobody is going to write the pages
This is the real one. A dashboard tells you that you are missing from eleven answers. Then it is Friday, you have a shipment to get out, and the report is still open in a tab. Knowing the gap does not close it.
You want the answer, not the score
Tools give you a number and a trend. We give you the answers themselves, every page the chatbot read, and which of those pages decided who got named.
Your questions need writing, not generating
Question sets generated from a URL produce questions your buyers would never type. We read your site and write them, and you cut the ones you disagree with before anything is asked.
You want to be told when something is nonsense
Nobody can make a chatbot recommend you. We say so in every report. It is worth having someone whose interest is in the measurement being right rather than the number going up.
What each costs
Roughly, per month
| Option | Typical price | What you do afterwards |
|---|---|---|
| Tracking tools | $20 to $500 | Everything |
| Enterprise platforms | $500 to $3,000 | Everything, with more data |
| Agency retainers | Varies widely by market | Depends entirely on the agency |
| Saarga Tracking | $300 | Everything, but you know exactly what to write |
| Saarga Growth | $1,200 | Read the drafts, change what you disagree with, publish |
The first check is free either way, and it is the whole report rather than a sample.
Either way, the data is yours
You are not locked into anything
The measurement belongs to you — every answer, every cited page, and the question set with its fingerprint. It arrives as plain files, not as rows in a dashboard you have to keep paying to read.
That matters more than it sounds. With most tracking tools, the history stops being available the month you stop subscribing. Here you keep it, and you could hand it to anyone to continue. That is deliberate.
How to decide
One question settles it
Will the work actually get done if nobody hands it to you written?
If yes, buy a tool. You will save money and you do not need us.
If no — and for most owner-run businesses the honest answer is no — then the measurement is only worth having if the writing comes with it.
Free either way
Send your website address and we will run the check. If the result is that you should buy a tool instead, we will say so.
